1. We estimate how much material is necessary to complete the gutter installation.
2. If we are replacing existing gutters, we determine whether or not there is rot along the fascia board after the old system has been removed. If there is damage, a fascia plate or fascia cover can be placed over it or the fascia board can be replaced at the expense of the owner. 
3. We use tin snips to cut gutters into the desired length and then we use files to smooth over the sharp aluminum edges. Afterward, we place a gutter-seam sealant on the gutter section that needs an end cap so that it doesn’t leak. 
4. In each of our gutter installations, hidden fasteners are slipped into the gutter run and then the gutter is screwed securely into the fascia. 
5. A power drill is used to attach the fascia to the downspout outlet. 
6. At the end of the gutter installation process, the downspout and elbow are attached and the downspout is anchored with brackets.
